The Copiague Library remains closed, but has moved programs online so everyone can participate from home!

Teen Summer Reading Club: Imagine Your Story

  • Begins: June 1 | Ends: August 29
  • Program No. 474
  • Enter the world of your imagination. Step through the looking glass and sign up for the Teen Summer Reading Club! For every book you read you receive a virtual raffle ticket. Each raffle ticket will earn you a chance to win a precious prize! You have until August 29 to complete as many books as you want. Every book you report on will also earn an hour of community service. Click here to submit a book review.
  • Don’t have internet access? You can call the library or mail in your report instead. Every teen that signs up will receive a prize at the end of the summer/beginning of school year.

  • Let us know how we can help you. What kinds of programs, activities, crafts, and games would you like the library to host? Fill out this form and receive one hour of community service.

Teen Rainbow Connection

  • Rainbows are appearing on windows and doors of people’s homes to show gratitude and support during this time of pandemic. Create your own rainbow and display to show your support. Snap a picture of your rainbow and send it to [email protected] to receive one hour of community service.

Teen Flicks and Share

  • What TV shows have you been watching? Write a small review of a TV show (no spoilers please) and receive one hour of community service. Send your reviews to [email protected] and they might appear on the library social media platforms.

Teen Kindness Bingo

  • Complete the nine acts of kindness listed on the bingo sheet and receive one hour of community service. Instructions to complete the kindness bingo are listed on the sheet found here.

Teen Happy Rocks

  • Everyone deserves a little bit of kindness. Cheer up those around your community. Decorate a rock with positive words and leave it in front of your house for people to see. Make sure you snap a picture of it and send it to [email protected] You will receive one hour of community service per rock.

Teen Share A Meal

  • What’s your favorite comfort food recipe? Send us your favorite recipe and receive one hour of community service. All recipes will be shared on Facebook to help spread community comfort. Send recipes to [email protected]
