Community Resource Database

The CRD is located on the web at http://www.crdli.org
To access the database click on Search the Database.
You will be asked to enter your user name and barcode:

This computerized directory profiles more than 8,500 community services and resources available in the Long Island area. Available on line for maximum accessibility, it provides individuals and organizations with easy access to current information about health, human service and education agencies and programs. These are mostly private non-profit or government sponsored public agencies and programs serving infants, children, teens, adults, and senior citizens. Specific types of programs and services for persons with disabilities, education and training opportunities, health facilities, hotlines, housing and food pantries.
The most accessible and detailed computerized directory currently available, the CRD is user friendly and can be instantly searched by agency/program name, subject, keyword or location and can be limited to geographic area, language or by combining search terms. The index terms are based on Info Line Taxonomy of Human Services, the accepted national standard of the Alliance of Information and Referral Systems. The CRD is comprehensive, consistent, regularly and centrally updated and available nationwide.
